Responsible product language
Equivalent performance is not formal approval.
LubeMax products do not currently carry API approval, licensing or certification. Where a product document references API, OEM or another industry specification, it describes equivalent performance to the stated requirement. All LubeMax products have SON approvals except where the current product TDS clearly states “Pending approval.”
