LubeMax industry solutions
Lubrication support for heavy-load mining and quarry operations.
Protect mobile and fixed assets across extraction, haulage, crushing and processing environments where contamination, shock loading and downtime carry serious operational consequences.
Operating context
Lubrication decisions built around equipment and duty.
Mining lubricant selection must account for load, speed, temperature, contamination exposure and the maintenance plan for each asset.
Haul trucks and service vehicles
Confirm the component, required grade, operating conditions and current equipment documentation before selecting a lubricant.
Excavators and drilling equipment
Confirm the component, required grade, operating conditions and current equipment documentation before selecting a lubricant.
Crushers and conveyors
Confirm the component, required grade, operating conditions and current equipment documentation before selecting a lubricant.
Pumps, compressors and generators
Confirm the component, required grade, operating conditions and current equipment documentation before selecting a lubricant.
Service challenges
Control the factors that shorten lubricant and equipment life.
Severe shock loads
Use suitable products, clean handling, inspection and documented maintenance practice to reduce avoidable risk.
Dust and abrasive contamination
Use suitable products, clean handling, inspection and documented maintenance practice to reduce avoidable risk.
Water ingress and washout
Use suitable products, clean handling, inspection and documented maintenance practice to reduce avoidable risk.
Remote maintenance conditions
Use suitable products, clean handling, inspection and documented maintenance practice to reduce avoidable risk.
Lubricant families
Connect every application to the right technical hub.
Selection workflow
A disciplined path from equipment requirement to product choice.
| Step | Confirm | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Equipment and component | Different systems require different lubricant types and performance levels. |
| 2 | Required viscosity and equivalent specification | Grade and performance language must match the current technical requirement. |
| 3 | Load, speed, temperature and contamination | Operating conditions influence oil life, grease interval and protection needs. |
| 4 | Compatibility and changeover plan | Mixing incompatible lubricants can reduce performance or create deposits. |
| 5 | Current TDS and SDS | Product-specific documents support responsible selection, handling and storage. |
Responsible product language
Equivalent performance is not formal approval.
LubeMax products do not currently carry API approval, licensing or certification. Where a product document references API, OEM or another industry specification, it describes equivalent performance to the stated requirement. All LubeMax products have SON approvals except where the current product TDS clearly states “Pending approval.”
Frequently asked questions
Mining lubrication questions.
Which lubricant should I use for my equipment?
Confirm the exact equipment, component, required viscosity, equivalent performance specification and operating conditions, then compare these with the current LubeMax TDS.
Can one product cover every machine in the operation?
Not automatically. Consolidation may be practical only after checking every equipment requirement, compatibility and duty condition.
Where can I request technical documents?
Use the LubeMax Technical Resources centre to request the current TDS, SDS and product-selection support.
How do I request supply or distributor information?
Send your territory, company profile, required products, pack sizes, quantities and delivery location through the relevant LubeMax contact route.
Plan the next step
Build a stronger mining lubrication programme.
Share the equipment list, current lubricants, technical requirements, operating conditions and supply location for a responsible product review.
